Wow...drama

I just went back to 12-24 to see how SeaStar's daughter was doing and now it appears the whole thing was grossly over-exaggerated and really she just had 10 stitches, which also would make sence as to why she was able to re-couperate at home instead of being admitted to the hospital.  ANd  some other bumpie called CPS on SeaStar based on the whole dog bite situation. 

Makes me extra glad that we have a busy enough and great local board that I don't go over there much.

    Yah, I saw that.  It's crazy.  I don't know why anyone would make something up like that about their child.  Makes me sad for them....

    I saw that recap on a Nest board I follow, and that she exaggerated other incidents. Just seems a little messed up all around. Although in general I find that people on the Bump are generally pretty quick to the "call the cops/CPS" line of action.

    wow!  that is crazy!  and so sad.  I really think some people sit home all day completely attention deprived and think that in internet land no one will be able to track them down.  I rarely go on any of the national boards anymore because of this.

    I read that too. Some people have far to much time on their hands!

    TTC since 6/2003. m/c 9/14/03 8 weeks, 5 chemical pregnancies, mmc 6/04 12 weeks, Michael born sleeping 5/25/05 at 22weeks always our angel, fought ovarian cancer and won, m/c 4/06 5.2 weeks and 7/07 6.6 weeks,Our Miracle baby girl born 4/8/10,mc 12/18/11 at 5.3 weeks, BFP 10/26/12 dating u/s on 11/8/12 showing a strong heartbeat!EDD July 4,2013. RCS on 6/27. Baby boy in NICU for 8 long and scary days before he was able to come home. We are now a happy family of 4

    Eh - I had a feeling it was a little bit of truth and little bit of MUD. That dog should still leave the home, though. I knew someone was going to call CPS too. You can't just AW a mauling incident and then expect everyone to be ok with it. She needs to turn off her computer and spend time with her baby.
