omg I hate this

I am dealing with a painful medical issue, and I can barely take care of myself right now. But I have no one to help me with DD. I feel like a horrible mother. DD was jumping on the couch, and I didn't get to her in time to get her down before she fell. She knocked her head pretty hard on the floor. I mean, she's fine now, but I feel guilty as heck.

 I know that my dad will watch her when he gets up, but he works nights so I don't want to make him get up early. SO is at his house throughout the week because he has to work, and my stepmom is at work too. Usually she works from home, but not today. What timing!

    Thanks ladies. My dad watched DD for an hour this morning while I went to a follow-up with my doctor, but then he had his own appt to go to, so I had to take DD to my ultrasound. She behaved really well though, and all of the ladies there loved her. I have a consultation with a surgeon tomorrow. (I have a mass in my breast that they may be removing.)
