With my son's planned c/s, I asked the doctor if I could see him right away, or if they could drop the curtain while he was coming out. He instead told me that they could set up a mirror so I could watch the whole thing.
It.was.amazing.
Did anyone else watch theirs? I am sooo hoping I get to watch this one too!
Re: anyone else watch their c/s???
Nope, but my c/s wasn't planned, it was emergency. I wish I could of seen it.. I know with our next kid, we are doing a planned c/s I don't want to have the stress of trying a VBAC.
But when we do, I'm going to ask if I can watch
I didn't want to watch the actual blood and guts part, but I did get to see them lifting my baby out of me through the mirror (it was aimed just a little higher). My husband did watch the entire thing, which he enjoyed....
If I have another child, I'll probably want to watch everything since I probably won't be as nervous.
Nope...I had an emergency c-section (was planning to have c-section at 39 weeks). I have a weak stomach and DH is even worse. Neither one of us wanted to see LO get pulled out, they asked if he wanted to take a picture, too, but only took pics as soon as he went to the warming table.
If I have another LO, I will decline to watch. That's just me. I have only the utmost respect for those ladies who have watched.
