DS gave his OT a hug today...

...and it almost made me cry. lol   He hugs in his own way and on his own terms, so when he did that to the OT today, I said to her that he was hugging her and that was so cute!! She hugged him back and it was so sweet to see that. Although, I did feel a little jealous because it's hard to get hugs and kisses from DS.

I feel like he's making progress lately and I love to see it!!!

    Very sweet and hopefully increased comfort with that kind of physical affection with the OT will carry over to more physical affection for mama too.

    Yeah!

    My mother made a comment a few months ago about Lydia is "stingy" with her hugs and kisses and I pointed out that she actually gives lots of kisses, she just kisses your hand or arm or hugs you on the arm or leg. It's her own way of being affectionate. It's much more appreciated now!
