to solve this gas problems?
Ive switch him to soy formula, worked for my daughter and bf's daughter
Im using dr browns
I burp him longer than it actually takes for him to suck down the
bottle, sometimes i dont get a burp out of him sometimes i get 4 or 5
was using gas drops after every feeding
Now im trying gripe water
im about to use gripe in every bottle to see if that works
the next step is gripe in every bottle and gas drops after feedings
but i personally think that is to much and i really dont want to do that
Any suggestions will help, i hate seeing him in pain

Re: what am I missing?
I do all that, even the happiest baby on the block technique, i lay him over my lap on his stomach and pat his back. I even youtube it and saw a video where they sway the baby back and forth.
This might seem weird and I'm definitely not a pediatrician, but my cousin's pedi just recommended that she add some infant rice cereal to her son's formula to help with his gas and reflux. Her LO is a week and a half younger than mine. You can buy cereal bottles that allow you to still feed from a bottle, and the rice can be as thick or runny as needed... maybe that's something to think about?
ETA: I wouldn't do it without consulting your pediatrician...just mentioning something I've heard.
Have you considered a sensitivity to soy. Not all babies tolerate it well.
I hope you are able to find a solution so LO can get some relief.
Often times babies with a milk intolerance have a soy intolerance as well.
If this is relatively new -- like past 3-4 days it could be a growth spurt. He may just be fussy because he needs more food and he's growing.
Google infant growth spurts and get some information... see if that matches our LO's symptoms.
