I don't typically have both girls out while I am by myself since DH and I are usually together (& we live on the 3rd floor so it's a little more challenging). But, this weekend DH wasn't around and I was meeting up with a lady that I donate BM to so I pushed myself to make it happen. After donating the BM I decided that I wanted to stop at the Target across the street since I was already out and there was a great sale on milk bags that was ending Saturday.
The girls and I went to Target, bought way too much (typical) and then went home. The second I parked in my spot I realized....I left my purse in the cart in the cart return. CRAP! As soon as I got back on the main road traffic was totally backed up because there was an accident, right after I drove thru there. So, I called Target as I'm already panicking. A lady was turning it into customer service while I was on the phone. They held it for me and nothing was missing.....credit cards, cash, designer purse, etc. What a wonderful lady! She saved my butt! I wonder if she saw me working so hard with both of the girls because I had only been gone for about 7 minutes. I love good people!!!!!
Re: Good Samaritan helped this mama of 2U2 out
That's awesome!! I really think good things will happen to those who do right
Army-Wife, I love your "Judgement Free Zone slogan" - I wish all members of the bump felt that way
I am so pleased that your purse got returned, those target carts are so deep it is so easy to leave things in the bottom.
This! It is a $450 Coach purse that my DH bought for me in PR. I would have seriously been heartbroken just for the sentimental value. I have never loved a purse before but the story behind this one makes it special. I am glad that you also had someone turn yours in. Losing your house payment could be catastrophic. I love good people!
Thank you! I read it in an article once upon a time and instantly thought of TB. I found a background that I liked and then put the 2 together using PicNik. I truly look to TB for help and inspiration....not to tear others down.
I had DD1 in the seated part of the cart, threw my purse into the basket (directly under DD1) and then put DD2's carseat in the basket so that I didn't have to worry about someone grabbing my purse. When I took the kids out, I didn't even see it. Glad it all worked out!
