I bought this for my son. I said he would wear it on Thanksgiving too. Plus, I told myself this would more then likely be the last costume I had total control over, so why not. I got it in the mail last Friday. It is so cute on!!! My son just laughed at himself in the mirror. Buy IT!!!
Something that freaking cute doesn't need to be justified. However, in the interest of playing along: you can wear it for Halloween & Thanksgiving, you can teach O about wild turkeys and dress up J to demonstrate, slightly un PC but O & his neighbor kids Dan play cowboys & indians and J could dress up like a turkey for added realism, when it's super cold out you can pop J in that and keep him warm. And really, are you going to out a price on keeping him warm? What kind of mother are you??

He can wear it twice - once for Halloween, once on the sidelines of the Thanksgiving Day Parade, during which cameras from all networks will zoom in on him like a hawk, and guaranteed you will have modeling agents tracking you down by 5pm to offer him kiddie contracts. The commission from his first shoot alone will buy you 10 of those costumes.
