So this seems dismal in comparison to dip but here we go. I had an u/s today and all clear to go ahead with IUI#1. However she wants me to use the IVF trigger instead of the ovidrel and mix it myself. So I said ok. What's the difference?
The main thing is my family doesn't want me doing yoga after the trigger shot and up until I find out if I am KU. Problem with this is that my back starts to slowly decline until I can't feel my feet and then it goes out. Also if I am not KU it takes me forever to get back to being just ok. I explained my whole situation to my yoga teacher and she said she will just modify things so I don't twist or do stupid stuff. So what do you all think?
Also they also don't want me to go to the gym. And in my opinion I think part of the issue when I do get KU is that all of a sudden I gain 10 pounds literally in a week and this is not normal. My body is used to strenuous workouts and I think stopping everything is not correct. What do you all think?
I promise not to do legs, abs and run from the time I trigger and only do 12 pounds or less. But they still say they are taking the car keys away.
Also for those of you with stomach issues you will understand that everything stops when you sit around and don't do anything.

Re: Before the insanity
Because I live with the whole family at the moment because DH is in Canada. And we all are in everyone elses biz. Also I have to use my mom's car b/c mine is in Canada so they literally have total control. They are very overprotective and terrified because they see me so miserable.

I'm with p. Why is your family chiming in on this stuff? It's your body, you should decide what you feel comfortable with. Generally doctors say to maintain your previous activity level and just listen to your body. It'll let you know if you need to back off a bit. Since you're doing a treatment cycle, I'd check with your RE about his/her specific guidelines in regards to your activity level. To me this shouldn't even be a topic of discussion with family.
ETA: Just saw your reply above. I would discuss it with your RE and tell your family what he/she says regarding your exercise. If your RE says it's okay, they should keep their opinions to themselves.
