No. I personally will not be, I do not think they are safe for infants. That is My opinion. I went to a safe sleep class when I was PG with DS and it made you think.

Yes I will be. DS won't be in the crib for several months (he will be in a co-sleeper in our room) so I will set it up so that it goes with the theme of the nursery. I feel like I would rather my child roll and hit the bumper than roll and get a limb stuck between the rungs. Am I nervous about using the bumper... absolutely... the last thing I want to happen to DS is for him to roll over and suffocate.
I'll try and use it with DS when he starts sleeping in his crib, and if it works and he's ok, then great... if it doesn't work or I find I'm more paranoid than I thought I would be or am, I'll take them out and store them for when he's older.
Yes. We used one with DS with no problem. We put a ceiling fan in the room which decreases the chance of SIDS by 70%. We also swaddled DS until he was 9 months old! He had a better chance of rolling over and suffocating on his cheek fat than making it over to the bumper!

I won't use one right away. Once I feel comfortable that baby can roll away(both f2b and b2f), then I will probably put it in. We already have one from DS(it's blue but I want to use if for DD anyways) so I am not buying a new one. Baby will be in PNP for a number of months anyway since DD is still in the crib

Health Canada does not recommend the use of bumper pads in cribs because they pose an entanglement, entrapment, strangulation, and suffocation hazard to infants.
It's on the bed right now because it goes with the theme of the room. Since there's no baby in there now, not a big deal. I'm on the fence on whether or not I will be using it once LO is born though. I like the idea of having them there so he doesn't put limbs through the slats, but at the same time I am nervous about him rolling and smothering.
I will once DS is a few months old and comfortably rolling around on his own. I always hear how these are "so dangerous" but I've never once heard of an actual incident of bumpers causing suffocation. Like with drop side cribs, there were always news stories of kids getting injured or killed. I obviously don't want me kid to be the first, but I also don't think that bumpers are as dangerous as they are made out to be.

We took it out until our son was more mobile and moving all over the crib. By that time, he was starting to get his limbs stuck and could easily roll away from the bumper or turn his head away if necessary. This was probably around 6 months, if I remember correctly. We didn't use it for the first several months to allow for more air flow in the crib, but as a previous poster said, for the first couple months, our swaddled little one wasn't really going anywhere. We could have put it back in the crib to add to the nursery decoration, but chose not to.
Most people I know used a bumper despite the warnings. If it is another thing that will keep you up at night, I'd skip it.
No. I didn't use one for DD and I won't use one for this LO. I figure, why risk it just to make a room look cuter. Also, DD has never so much as gotten a bruise from not having one and she rolls around like a wild child in her crib!
We will use a breathable bumper. I have heard that kids can (and often do) get their legs/arms stuck in the crib, and I'd like to prevent that without worry of SIDS (the reason I've seen not to use them).
Yes I will. DD will be in the basinett in my room for the first 4-5 months (longer if she has not reached the weight requirement by then) and then she cill transition to the crib. I also plan to use a sleep positioner in the basinett.

I'm going to use a breathable bumper like these:

Ditto this. We used a breathable bumper for DS.
