Went to the doctors yesterday to find out the gender and to see if he is growing healthy.
The good news......He is healthy and everything is growing as it should. We also found out he is as stubborn as his dad.
The appointment was a 30 minute appointment and it took him at least 25 minutes before he decided to open his legs and tell us he was a boy. Talk about the stress level of not knowing what you are having. Whether it be a boy or girl.
I do have to say the pain level of the nurse pushing down on my belly to see if everything was doing good was at a 10. I dealt with it though just to make sure all was going good and just to get to know what we were having.
Now all his dad has to do is pick a name. We agreed if it was a girl I picked the name and if it was a boy he gets to pick the name. Well we now he is a BOY now get to work Eric. LOL!
Thank you God for the good news and having him be healthy and o.k.
Now I can't wait to meet you. Come on Feb. 6th! ![]()
Re: It's a BOY!
I feel you on the pain when getting the ultrasound. I wouldn't put it at a 10, but it was definitely uncomfortable! The technician kept shaking my tummy, trying to get the baby to move!
But at our ultrasound, the first thing the technician asked is if we wanted to know the gender. YES! She then proceeded to look at the baby and take pictures and NOT tell us for a good 10 minutes! I was dying. It was only after this, when they baby had curled up in a ball that she told us we were having a girl!
Congrats on your little boy!
Congrats on team blue!
Wow, you're trusting...I don't know if I'd be cool with DH getting to pick the name with no input from me. But I'm a control freak like that.
Congrats!
My oldest is a Feb 1st boy! Boys are so much fun!
