Missoni at Target

To be honest, I'm not even familiar with this designer, but my super hip working mom friend was all excited that Target is unveiling their Missoni line today and now it's so popular that the Target website has crashed.  So apparently this is cool, cheap clothing that we working mamas need.  :)  Keep an eye out!

    I hope they got up early to shop.  I heard it was a zoo today and the shelves were empty early on.  I know nothing about Missoni either! 

    ETA: the Target site is down too.  lol  I just googled missoni and it is cute!  Too bad a dress is $700 at Nordstroms!

    Sounds like a bunch of people bought all the merchandise in stores at 8am and now they'll sell it on ebay.

    I just googled it and the stuff is very cute and normally like $1100 for a dress.  So, I see why people would be pretty happy to spend $45 on a dress instead. :)  I'm so unhip.

    Me too - though there is a Target in a very unhip suburb near my work - maybe I'll check it out over the lunch hour and get lucky.

    Good God.  That is the ugliest bunch of shitt I have ever seen haha  The only exception is the rose courderoy jacket.  ONLY.  If zig zags are that popular this year I guess I'll be naked :-p

     I just tried that same tactic...however, it was a huge fail. I was talking to some Target employees and he said one woman came in and bought like $2600 worth of the stuff... can we say, Hello Ebay? You have to have a very specific taste to like this stuff and wear it correctly... I'm afraid of what might happen with people wearing it just because of the hype! I do want that coat though.. I need Target.com to work!

    This.  Exactly!  Just who exactly would this look good on?  Stick thin, tall models?  Horizontal stripes or even horizontal zig zags would look HORRENDOUS on me.  Even if I was tall and stick thin I don't really like it.  Guess I am in the minority.  The rest of you can have it!

    I haven't even looked, no clue who Missoni is, but horizontal zigzags sounds like Charlie Brown to me, so that's what I will now think of if I see people out and about in this stuff, LOL.
