What do you use: Hairspray or gel or something else to keep their hair in place when you do their hair for school?

    I put in a small amount of gel when their hair is wet and then use hair spray.

    We use a Spray Mousse from our local kid salon (Snip-Its).

    I use both.  My DD has to wear a bun most days because she is in a dance magnet.  Even before that I always used spray, in my OCD mind I am doing my part to keep the lice away!

    Water.  If its for something special, mousse.

    Nothing except a little gel for picture day.

    DD has ver fine long straight hair..and likes it braided..so we use a touch (about a dime size) of gel when it is wet.

    It still slides out a bit, but not as bad as natural...also hair is still soft and does not look or feel like anything is in it!

    For picture days I use a little more and finish with hairspray..

    Just hair detangler.  I don't put any product in her hair unless she has dance class then I use a little gel to help the bun stay in place.
