Am I nerd for wanting my carseats to match? After #2 is out of the pumpkin and in a convertible, #1 will still be in the convertible, and I want them to be the same brand, type and color scheme. Is anyone else like that?
I had two patterns to pick from for the convertible seat we chose for DD1. I picked the one that was a closest match to the infant seat we'll use for DD2. Dumb, but it made this crazy pregnant lady feel better :P

I am the same way . When they were all in carseats they had the same seats, the two oldest are now in boosters, they are a different brand, but they match the other carseats.
We didn't get the same pattern, but I wanted both convertible seats to be the same brand/model. It's the reason I bought a Britax Marathon "Classic" from Target after Britax came out with the new seats last year. It has the same shell as DD's Marathon.

I don't care about the same color, but ideally I would like to get the same convertible carseat. But that way it's easy to install, since it's been done once already.
Not only do my car seats have to match, but they have to match my CAR! I think this indicates a real issue. I don't want a pink or blue seat clashing with my tan interiors and dark red paint.
Perfectly normal.
Same here. My interior is black...for LO#1, the seat was black and khaki - which also matches my husbands interior, and then for LO#2 we bought a red and black seat for my car. My oldest's convertible seat is black and white - same brand, Britax.
If it's still available, I'll probably get the same model and color as the convertible DS has (as long as it fits next to his in the car). One thing in our favor is that his current seat was just purchased this year.
Surprisingly DH is the one who wants things to match his vehicle. DD is in a black Evenflo Triumph and we just bought a red Britax Frontier to match his red truck. In my car I have a tan colored Triumph for DD (it was the only color available) and a blue Frontier, just because I liked the color.
