pediatricians in fair lakes/fair oaks.

i have heard about fairfax pediatric associates.... i think it is mentioned on here a lot. there are so.many.doctors! do you have favorites?

any other practices we should look at?

my friends hae had a hard time with fairfax pediatric associates... not sure if this is the norm or not but they leave there feeling like they are bad parents. new parents may mean on the defensive side and nervous, so i dont really know.

When we were evaluating pedi, we checked out FPA. They were okay. If you're up for a little further drive, we went with Reston Town Center Peds. They've been great!

I love Dr. Dakin at FFX Ped. She is down to earth and never makes you feel like a worried mom. Dr. Chung is nice too and probably my 2nd favorite. Dr. Dubinsky is good, but very cut and dry, and may be a tougher fit personality-wise

We go there and have really like all of the Drs we've seen. Dr. Dubinsky saw my daughter in the hospital when she was newborn and that wasn't a good experience, due to her personality, but we saw her in the office later and she has been great. We've gone through most of the peds there and haven't really had any that we didn't like. They have weekend and evening urgent hours which are helpful since my kid tends to get sick at 4pm or Sat morning!
