Prices for baby gear - do these seem fair?

Do these prices sound fair?? I compared to craigslist for most of them.

Graco Snap n' Go Stroller (like new) $50

Boppy travel swing (4years old, great condition) $30

Bumbo with tray (like new - Ryan's chunky thighs wouldn't fit!) $20

Graco Snugride 35 in Racer (includes base, like new) $100

Extra base for Snugride 35 (like new) $40

Baby Bjorn infant carrier (4 years old but like new) $30

Fisher Price Puppy Bouncer w/ motion, music and vibrations (4 years old, some stains, good condition) $15

Re: Prices for baby gear - do these seem fair?

  • I fee like they are a bit high, but I usually shop consignment sales which I think are generally less than CL. For example, I bought a like new Snap-n-Go for $25, Baby Bjorns are usually $10-15, and car seats are usually $50 or less.

    Just my $0.02...

  • Are you listing these on CL?  Just be ready for lower offers.  I paid $12 for a great travel swing and the same for a bouncer.

  • Thanks. I will bring them down a bit. I'm offering them to a neighbor first then I will just ask around before putting them on CL.

Kinda sad to see the baby stuff go!

***but not sad enough to have another one!!

  • I agree, maybe a tad high.  I usually do the half price rule, half the retail price for new.  And then I add like $5-$10 depending on the price to account for people offering less.  But my goal is to get half what I paid for it (or it sells for in the store).  I've seen snap n go's on CL for $25.

  • Ditto PP's on the prices. Also got a snap 'n go for $25 on CL brand new. Also the carseat is high as well. I typically see ppl spend about $50 for a used seat in very mint cond.

  • I agree with the other ladies!! Here is what I would personally pay:

Graco Snap n' Go Stroller (like new) $25-$30Boppy travel swing (4years old, great condition) $20Bumbo with tray (like new - Ryan's chunky thighs wouldn't fit!) $15-$20Graco Snugride 35 in Racer (includes base, like new) $50-$75Extra base for Snugride 35 (like new) $15-$20Baby Bjorn infant carrier (4 years old but like new) $20

Fisher Price Puppy Bouncer w/ motion, music and vibrations (4 years old, some stains, good condition) $10-$15

  • I priced Bumbos last week for the same purpose, and indeed I was hoping to get $20 for the Bumbo plus tray since most on CL were $20-$30.  Without the tray $15 is probably fair.  I'm sorry I can't speak to the rest specifically, but things like the swing and bouncer sound about right. :)

Graco Snap n' Go Stroller (like new) $50 You can buy this new for $50.  I paid $10 on CL and there were multiple ones in the $10-$15 range.

Boppy travel swing (4years old, great condition) $30

Bumbo with tray (like new - Ryan's chunky thighs wouldn't fit!) $20

Graco Snugride 35 in Racer (includes base, like new) $100

Extra base for Snugride 35 (like new) $40 Isn't this also the price of buying one new?

Baby Bjorn infant carrier (4 years old but like new) $30

Fisher Price Puppy Bouncer w/ motion, music and vibrations (4 years old, some stains, good condition) $15

I think these prices are high but if they are starting points then great.  Just be prepared to go lower.
