TTC After a Loss 6 Months+

XP - Anyone take prometrium (or provera)

How long did you take it?

What were the SE?

When did AF show after taking it (during, after, how long after?)

Do you think it impacted your next cycle?  Did they shorten at all?

I'm considering taking it to try to jump start my cycles (I think my CH's are wrong, and I don't think it will work, but whatever).

TIA!

Re: XP - Anyone take prometrium (or provera)

  • Hey hun! I took provera for 10 days and AF showed 2 and a half days after taking the last pill.

Remember, that provera is a progesterone and it will mimic your LP, so it might feel like you just ovulated. AF it self was a b!tch. Very heavy, clotty, and crampy.

I'm so sorry you think your CHs are wrong!! I hope that temp shoots up soon!

  • Thanks Cashew!  I'm not sure if I should take it or not.  I got an almost positive OPK tonight (5dpo is totally wrong!).  I think I'll wait a couple days and see what happens.  The wait sucks!!!!!!!!
