what shoes does your dd wear w/black clothing?

Currently, dd wears black gap ballet flats with all her black clothing & I'm trying to find something more appropriate for preschool.

Any suggestions? I was looking at pedipeds flex but can't tell online if the tread is good enough for climbing/jumping when they go outside. Anyone have these?

DD has high top hot pink Converse that she wears with black leggings/pants. They look adorable and are easy to wash.

I like a Striderite or Buster Brown Mary Jane style shoe with a good, thick tread. It's kind of the typical little girl "school shoe" and dressy enough to wear with all but the nicest special occasion dress.

DD has black maryjane Keens that I got on sale last season for like 28$. Sadly, she is outgrowing them and I reeeaaly want to get her a new pair but they are 50$. But they are awesome! The toddler ones have some blue stitching in them, which I am not a huge fan of, but size 9 and up do not.
