Timing of 2nd beta?

So my first beta was at 15 dpiui.  It was a good number (251) and I was told to come back for a second beta 6 days later (I'll be exactly 5 weeks then).  Does this seem like it's really late?  I've been POAS since the first faint BFP and they've been getting darker so logically it seems like things are on track, but I still feel the need for more confirmation....

1st U/S; heard one beautiful HB of 129 - 9/29/11

OB visit; HB of 166 - 10/13/11

2nd US; HB of 163 - 10/18/11

A/S - 12/9/11 - It's a perfect healthy BOY!!!!

    My clinic does them a week apart but since my first one was low I asked to come in earlier and they did my second beta four days later instead. I still had to wait a week in between betas two and three.

    I know everyone's answeres will vary. I had mine drawn at 14 and 17 post IUI

    My first beta was at 12dpiui (I got a super early BFP), then another beta 2 days later, then a week apart until my first u/s.  Every RE is different though, hang in there and congrats!

    suprise BFP but m/c on 2/7/11

    Step away from the sticks... YOUR PREGNANT stop peeing on them :)

    I had one at 16dpo then 20dpo then a week later. You have a great number! how many days apart doesn't really matter the number will still double even if its not checked every 2 days.

    I know its hard not to worry, Congrats again and I hope for a great beta and US im your furture

    Thanks ladies.  Even MH encourages the stick-peeing, we are just so over the moon excited, I honestly didn't know it was possible to feel this happy.  The world just feels like a much better place.  I know I have no reason think anything bad, just irrational worrying...

    it is a great feeling! Your desever to feel this happy. Finally at 12 weeks when I got to see the little bean flipping around. I realized I was no longer gonna worry about all the bad things and I finally started to enjoy this pregnancy. Just wait till you and DH see the heart beat, what an amazing moment.

    I had my beta- which was 9-8-2011... 12 days past my iui...  It was 47.7.

    the nurse said all they are looking for was 20  at that time.

    My next beta is this thursday 9-15-2011

     what is so pathetic- I bought a test just so I could see the BFP today...haha.  I just have never seen one! : ) pathetic.
