Why is it that T is more than happy to sleep past 7 am on a week day or the one weekend morning in *months* (last weekend) that DH was willing to get up with her so I could sleep in, but needed to be up at 6:40 both Saturday and Sunday this weekend?
How do kids sense when it's daddy's turn to be up at night or early in the morning and know to sleep better for once??
Re: Kids and sleeping in vent
I feel your pain. DH claims that DS always sleeps later for him. I claim that it's just that DH doesn't hear him on the monitor until he's full-out wailing. On the mornings I get to "sleep in" I have to rouse DH.
same here! it's weird b/c sprout sleeps in for daddy even though daddy is his favorite (and thus, if he woke up earlier, he'd get more daddy-time for the day).
I'm just thankful that he's not waking up at 5am anymore, though.
I'm convinced this is it in my house as well.
