I just did my ticker for my son. He's going to be 5 in Feb. Any suggestions on bday parties?
We had a huge 1st bday party with friends and family. We have not had a party with his playmates from daycare over, usually just family. I am trying to think of something fun to go to or do for my son's birthday in the middle of winter. We are in a fairly small town. We have usually went somewhere a week or so after his birthday....hotel with a waterpark. This year, I think I'd like to have his little friends over.
Mom's with winter bdays have any other suggestions? TIA
Re: Birthday Ideas for a 5 year old
I'm dreading the years between the bounce house age and the sleep over age!
Winter birthdays can be hard.
I loved doing a bounce house place because it was easy and the kids had a blast but it sounds like it's not an option for you?
What about bowling?
As they get older I think we'll do bowling/laser tag, etc. Probably the 6-10 range? Not sure how a group of 4-6 yr olds would do bowling but I think the 6-8 group would like it.
At 9 - 12 they enjoyed a movie/sleep over party.
Ages 12 - 15 we take him and 1 or 2 friends up skiing but again probably not an option for you, huh?
At 16 it's "can I have some cash for gas?" and he's off doing his own thing.
They grow up so fast!
Total score: 6 pregnancies, 5 losses, 2 amazing blessings that I'm thankful for every single day.
What about a pizza place. Have them eat, open presents and maybe if the place allows a few small games like pin the tail, etc.
