Hi girls, thanks for all the T&Ps! I got discharged from perinatal today and am so glad to be home. I took a good nap when I first got home b/c there was no sleep to be had in there with all the monitors and alarms going off. So happy to get a good night's sleep tonight in my own bed! And grateful because being discharged means things are looking okay with baby. I got my two steroid shots for her lungs over the weekend, unfortunately they are having blah side effects on me where I look completely sunburned and am so hot ... it says a possible side effect of "facial blushing" but I am like a lobster on my face, chest, and arms and putting off heat like crazy. Fun times! I hope it will wear off soon!
My OB was the OB on call this weekend which was nice so I could keep up with her on everything going on. I was showing protein in my urine but the 24hr catch showed the levels were okay and my BP came down overnight so she felt comfortable enough to send me home. She does want me to take off work and move up my normal Tuesday NST/AFI check to tomorrow. She's also calling the high-risk OB to get me in hopefully tomorrow to have him to do some type of ultrasound to check the blood flow of the umbilical cord and placenta. If things look good there and my BP stays under control, then we should be able to squeeze out a couple more weeks before delivery. If not, it could be soon.
She also has mentioned pulling me out of work and putting me on home bedrest. Obviously I'll do whatever she says, but I'm really hoping it doesn't come to that. I really don't want to start my maternity leave before the baby comes b/c I want to spend as much time as I can at home with her. Plus if she is a preemie in the NICU for a few weeks, that just means she'll be going to daycare that much earlier and I'd really like to avoid that. I don't know, I just have to wait and see what comes from the appointments. That seems to be the motto lately... just always waiting for tomorrow's news. Thanks again for the T&Ps, I'll update when we know more!

I'm glad you were able to be discharged. Nothing beats a good night's sleep in your own bed!
Hopefully everything is fine with baby and you can avoid strict bedrest. Thinking of you!
