I just got my BFP last week, so it's still super early to compare much, but I think this time I definitely feel the symptoms sooner. Maybe because I knew what it was like before? With my first, I didn't test until 17 DPO and didn't feel symptoms for another week or more, if I remember correctly. This time I tested at 12 DPO and "knew" by the way I felt at 10 DPO that it was going to be a positive. I had forgotten that pregnant feeling, until I felt it again.

Same symptoms except I actually vomited before I got a positive on this test. I was sick with DD but never vomited and not this soon. In fact sore boobs and throwing up is what made me test. If I vomited before I even knew I was pregnant....how sick am I gonna get and how do I deal with it and a curious 2 year old? I have no idea, but I am excited.
The first time around I really only had the period-like symptoms before getting a BFP. This time I absolutely was certain that I was pregnant (or crazy!) b/c in addition to that I was an emotional monster, dizzy often, had excess saliva, and some major abdominal cramping (not period-like) all way before my period was due (pretty much a couple days after O). But.. of course it just depends on the person and pregnancy!
Its been day-for-day the exact same, accept morning sickness hit hard at 6 weeks instead of 7....and now I have a 3 year old to chase around while jamming crackers into my mouth, lol.
I "knew" I was pregnant around 9DPO because I had implatation cramps and my chart looked good. I remembered the cramps the most. They are not like my menstral cramps. But, I am also very early this time. Like the PP said, I didn't find out until 17 DPO with my DD. This one I knew at 10 DPO. I had really sore boobs with my DD, this time they are not the least bit sore. I blame that on BFing for 16 months. I didn't get m/s with DD until 6 weeks. So, one week to go!
The first time around I didn't have anything really. My boobs were a tiny bit tender, and I had slight cramping. We weren't TTCing that time, and I just bought a test on a whim because I had been cramping for like 2 weeks. I knew my period was going to come at some point (although my cycles were irregular) so I wasn't thinking it would actually be positive. BUT it was, and I'm so glad it was
This time around, before I even tested I thought I was. But I didn't want to get my hopes up, so I chalked it up to being phantom symptoms. I was nauseous, wanting to eat constantly, but yet had food adversions and cravings (I tried to eat some chicken and about vomited, and could only think about salads). My boobs are already the size that they were when I gave birth to DS, so I can only wear my nursing bras. I also have slight cramps on and off. The morning sickness is the worst, I do believe. Oh and I have headaches too.
Mine have been identical.. just a backache from DPO 7-10, burping more than usual, a little bit of dizziness so far. The weirdest part is that my dog (who doesn't pay any attention to me- she adores DH and is usually on top of him at night after DD is sleeping) snuggled up with me on the couch during the 2WW with DD and this 2WW with LO #2... it's like she knew something was happening!
This is my #2 pregnancy and I'd say it's very comparable, but just a little different if it makes sense?
I was nauseous during the evenings with my 1st pregnancy and with this one for a week or more it was ALL day, I'm feeling better by far, but not feeling 100% like myself just yet. Execpt for that everything seems to be same.

I got my BFP at 9 or 10 dpo, so I've known for two weeks. These past two weeks have been VERY different than the same two weeks with my DD. With my DD, I had zero nausea. I had terrible cramps before my BPF for an hour at a time. I had horrible heartburn early on.
With this pg, I have been nauseated, but not in the am. I get sick in the afternoons (but no vomiting), and I am exhausted beyond belief. I'm sure the exhaustion has something to do with chasing DD around all day.
I just found out on Saturday and to say I'm shocked would be an understatement. Turns out I wasn't ovulating when I thought I was. So, I'm only 4 days passed my pissed period, but I haven't felt ANYTHING yet. I have some cramping/lower back pain but that's it. Last time I was constipated and had heartburn (for the first time ever in my life)
To be honest, the combination of the unexpected conception and lack of symptoms is making me nervous.
Best of luck conceiving #2! Hope to see you on here soon.
My early, early symptoms were the same - emotional, sore boobs. However, my main symptoms are much different, and this pregnancy is totally different in general. I'm way less sick, way less tired, sometimes I don't even feel pregnant. When I was pregnant with Anna, it honestly felt like she was some life-sucking alien force who was making me violently ill and so fatigued that walking from the couch to the bed was a miraculous feat.
It took a while (about 9 months) to conceive baby #2 as well, so hopefully it will happen with you too soon.
I actually got pregnant (as well as my friend with her second) within the same month of going to the chiropracter.. apparently my pelvis was "out" 1.5 inches. I havent had my Dr.'s app't yet but i think i'm due mid May. No real sympoms yet, only mood swings. I snapped at DH yesterday and then we both burst out laughing b/c it was so random! I remember having rock hard boobs with DS when I was first pregnant, around 4/5 weeks already.
I am currently 11 weeks pregnant and I was throwing up before I got an actual positive test result as well (at about 3 1/2 weeks) which was what prompted me to take the test so early. I hate to say it, but I have been pretty sick so far (throwing up about 5-10 times on an average day and sometimes more. Of course this is my first pregnancy, so I have nothing compare it to, but it seems like a lot to me. Three days ago, I started eating two small ginger snaps before getting out of bed in the morning which seems to help slightly. I am still nauseous most of the time, but can keep some food down. Of course it could also be that my 1st trimester is winding to a close and my symptoms (which have all been pretty rough) are starting to ease up.
not the same, but the first time I did IUI so I kinda expected symptoms... this time it was a surprise so the nausea and fatigue came out of nowhere one day. I thought I had a stomach bug until I told my sister only greasy food made me feel better...like a hangover. She suggested I test... I laughed...but it was positive.

Sorry to hear it's taking longer this time around. Same happened here. DS was conceived in about 3 months, and this time it took well over a year and a half and lots of testing later. This pregnancy has been very similar - extremely sick and exhausted like last time. Good luck getting your BFP!
Thanks so much for all of your advice and symptoms!!! I sure hope this happens soon!!
i got pregnant with DS within 2 weeks of getting off the pill....so i just expected it to be easy this time. but thats ok.....god will send me a little one when its time!!!

First of all .. best of luck to you!

The symptoms came sooner for me with this one. I am sick constantly whereas with my first I was only sick for a couple hours each day.

Completely different.

Pretty much the same, but it's still super, super early.

I was charting with both and I saw a dip and had implantation spotting and cramping with #2, but not with my first.
Symptoms started very early with this one too, and they were/are different symptoms. GL to you!

I had implantation bleeding this time, but not with #1.
Other than that, I had no symptoms until after the BFP (at least a week or so after).

My symptoms are pretty much the same this time, but seem to have started earlier.
If it makes you feel any better, it took us 2 months TTC for DS, but 11 months this time (and that's with charting).
It took a while (about 9 months) to conceive baby #2 as well, so hopefully it will happen with you too soon.
