I want to get DD a play kitchen for Christmas. We were at a friends this weekend and she had one and DD LOVED it! I had been thinking about getting one for her but we are limited on space and I didn't want to unless she was going to really enjoy it. This weekend confirmed that Santa definitely should bring her that!
I'm trying to decide between plastic, like Little Tikes or Step 2, or wood, like Kid Kraft. Any suggestions?
I may buy new or on CL if I find the right one... any help is appreciated! Thanks!
Re: Recommend your play kitchen!
We have the Step2 Partytime Kitchen, and DS LOVES it. We had a relatively small space to fit it in as well, so this is perfect. What I learned from my research between LT & S2 is that S2 has more bells & whistles and LT is pretty sparse. Most of the S2 kitchens have the electronic stuff on them, some are just bigger and take up more space

Where do you see if its an LT or an S2?
Thanks for the suggestions! I think I will find time to make a trip the Step 2 retail store that we have here to check them out in person. I think if I end up with plastic, it will be S2 for the reasons the above poster said, it does seem to have the fun bells and whistles.
I need to figure out where I might be able to look at some wooden options in person though... maybe TRU has some set up?
Little Tikes or Step 2....This thru me for a loop too! lol
I have been looking around this past week because I know DD would LOVE one! I am thinking about going with this one:

I am just trying to decide if I want to go all girlie girl with the pink or if I want to be more gender nutral with the brown one. I am really stuggling with that for some reason.
Those pink ones are so cute! I am all for girly things, so I struggled with that too. Ultimately, I decided that I will go neutral, simply based on the fact that this will be out in plain sight in our house, not in a toy room or anything, and I figured I would probably rather it blend in, as much as a large toy kitchen can blend in! haha! If it were going in her room or a separate room, I'm not sure how I would decide!
Same here! I have 2 girls but we have already flooded them with pinks and purples. I am trying to take little steps so slow that flood down. lol. As it is with you, this will also not be in a play room so "blending in" is a big deciding factor.
