Hey ladies -
I'm just wondering how many other miracle BFP'ers there are on here. I lurk a lot looking for posts like this one and I was just hoping to connect with some people who have experienced this!
*edited to clarify**
All BFPs on this board are miracles lol. I'm flustered - forgive me!

I don't believe that God ever tells us "no". he has three options. Yes, not right now, or I have something better in mind. We just have to wait & see.

My BFP was truly a surprise. Because of a chromsome abnormality they told me I would never get pregnant with my own eggs and if I did I wouldn't carry to term.
My daughter was born on 8/17 and is happy and healthy. I truly think that Acupuncture and the Lupron from my DE IVF cycle in 8/10 is what helped us get pregnant on our own.
12/99 - Miscarriage at 12w - 6/08 - BFP - Miscarriage at 8w, 9/08 - BFP - Miscarriage at 8w2d, 12/08 - Found out I am a carrier of a Balanced Translocation between Chromosomes 8 & 16, 8/2010 - DE IVF = FAIL. 12/18/10 - Surprise BFP! My Blog
I had a surprise BFP during a break cycle- we were unexplained IF but my BFP came several months after a lap to remove some significant endo from one of my ovaries. I'm convinced the surgery is what did the trick for us.
But I know all the ladies here consider their BFPs to be miracles!
After 2 1/2 years TTC, 3 IUI's, endo, and a lap, a surprise BFP brought us Alexandra Marie!
I totally do too!

I definitely had a miracle BFP!
We were in the adoption process for roughly a year, and things were really starting to move forward. Because we were pursuing embryo adoption, we had to have a letter from our doctor stating that I was able to carry a baby. Well, long story short, but for roughly five to six months I had doctors dragging their feet on giving me a diagnosis and/or the letter. One doctor thought I had PCOS, the next doctor said definitely not. We moved on to an RE sometime in late June/early July.
Almost immediately after my first internal ultrasound, they said I had polycystic ovaries (40 cysts all up) and that pregnancy would be difficult to achieve, but not impossible. Bloodwork showed that my insulin levels were normal, which meant I did not have to take Metformin. However, I was still on Clomid (started that May/June).
Due to an uncoming military move, I elected to have my July/Aug cycle extremely monitored - i.e. doctor's visits at least once a week. I think I saw the doc 5 times in 3-4 weeks and got stuck more times than I can remember. On the day I ovulated, they did a post-coital test. The results came back very poorly - my mucus was not the right consistency for ovulation (though my body was ovulating), and therefore the sperm, though present, were not moving at all. I left disappointed in my body, but at the same time glad to know at least a small part of why in 3 years we hadn't conceived.
And...then came the surprise. Two days before my cycle was due to start, I got a BFP!!! I was so shocked it seriously took me days for the news to really sink in. We are so thrilled and are due May 4, 2011 (so I am 6w, 2d today).

All babies are miracles! And we had a surprise miracle!
We did 4 IUIs and then took this summer off before we were going to move forward with IVF. I had been planning to schedule an appointment with my RE since the summer had ended but I had been procrastinating. Was planning to call soon but my period was late so I POAS and we were pleasantly surprised to get a BFP!
