What vitamins/supplements were you on?

CD1, here, in tons of pain & unable to get out of bed, so I'm spending too much time on the boards.

What supplements and vitamins did you guys take? Change anything before a successful cycle?

oh gosh, i was on all sorts of things. my co-workers still tease me that i'm the crazy lady who takes all the vitamins (none of them know what they were actually for or that now i can barely stomach a prenatal!).

chinese herbs - i recommend you take these only if you get them from someone who is well educated about chinese medicine. my acupuncturist was and she had me on a regimen. my RE did NOT want me on them, but i stopped them when i started BCPs for my last/BFP IVF cycle so they wouldn't interfere with any of my meds.

royal jelly

folic acid and prenatal

vitamin c

flaxseed oil

vitamin d

i also modified my diet according to my diagnosis in chinese medicine. i think i was wet (maybe damp?) and...something else. anyway my acu gave me a list of foods to eat and to avoid. i also read "the infertility cure," which is based on chinese medicine, and i used that for food lists. i stopped drinking months beforehand and cut waaaay back on carbs.

i started all of the above 2-3 months before starting BCPs for my cycle.

oh, and i went to acu once/week before my cycle, twice/week during the cycle, and then twice on transfer day.

I am still in a stage of disbelief, and I'll never know what exactly did the trick, but the things I've done differently this cycle from other cycles is that I completely eliminated all caffeine (in all forms), ate a lot "cleaner", and stepped up my game with exercise. I didn't eat terrible things overall prior to this as well, but because I had literally zero hope of this cycle working, I was basically prepared to go on a heavy duty diet as soon as it was over to lose the 15ish pounds I've racked on dealing with IF. Apparently the universe had other plans for me.
