For those who have a DSLR, what is in your camera bag? I currently have a Nikon 50mm f/1.8D AF Nikkor Lens for my Nikon D5000. I love it, but I feel like I can't use it to it's full potential.
MH bought me this lens for Christmas a couple years ago and while I looove it, it ended up being the wrong lens for my camera. The one I should have go was the Nikon 50mm f/1.8G AF-S because of the autofocus feature.
The lens I have now is almost impossible to take pics of Rawley because he is just moving so much that every picture I take is blurry and not in a good way R has to stay still in order for a good picture to be taken and that's few and far between anymore. I end up just using my lens that came with my camera most of the time now, but I'm not pleased with how my pics turn out.
So I'm curious for all of you that have a DSLR and love to take pics for fun or for a side business, what do you have in your camera bag??

You take all your amazing pictures with just a kit lens???? That's amazing because your pictures just get better and better! But yes, the new AF lens is the only thing I want for Christmas this year. This manual focus is just too overwhelming and feels close to impossible to master

Aw thanks! Yup, I only have the one lens. I want a 35mm or 50mm prime, but that will have to wait a while...
Thanks!

I would have never guessed that your "learning". You also take such great pictures!
I love my 50mm lens, I just wished it has the AF...I'm for sure putting that on my Christmas list this year.
I'm trying to learn using this lens to shoot straight manual, but its so frustrating because I feel like I miss moments because I can never get anything in focus since R is moving around now all the time
Practice, practice, practice...
