Middle name for Coral?

I have always been set on using either Rose or Louise for a middle name, after one of my grandmothers. Lately I have been really loving the name Coral (for a first name), but I don't think it really goes with either. Coral Rose sounds like a type/color of rose and just sounds weird because it's two things in nature. And with Coral Louise I feel like the Ls just run together and it just doesn't sound good.

I like middle names with meaning, and besides Louise and Rose, other important female names in my family are: Deborah, Nancy, Barbara, Mildred, Emma, Kathryn, Suzanne.

Any of those names work with Coral? I'm not seeing a clear winner. Or, I know this board is usually opposed to mishmash names, but for the sake of a middle where meaning is more important to me, see any possible combos or variations of the aforementioned names?

For what it's worth, I really want to avoid picking out a random name for a middle just because it goes well with the FN.

  • Emma, Kathryn or Suzanne depending on your last name :)

  • I actually like Coral Louise. The double L doesn't bother me. But you could always make it Coral Eloise to put another letter between the Ls.

Coral is really a pretty name, by the way.

  • How about Cora Rose?

I agree with this, as well as the poster who suggested Eloise as a middle name. I think I love Coral Eloise!

  • Of all your choices Louise is the best. Would you consider Coraline Rose or Louise?

     Me, too!

  • Coral Suzanne sounds good.

If you don't want to change the name Coral, could you maybe use Coral Rosemary or Coral Rosalie?  What about Coral Eloise?

Coraline was invented for the book of the same name.
