Well... seeing as how I only have this LO and he was born via c-section, I don't have any info on how it compares to a natural delivery, but I have lost about 40 lbs since he was born. I only gained about 25lbs... so I'm down an extra 15 below my pre pregnancy weight. I have been doing Weight Watchers and I EBF so I'm sure that has contributed... but other than going on several walks a week, I'm not really doing any exercise.
Me: 30 DH: 32
TFAS since May 2013
8/14 - Bloodwork showed heterozygous MTHFR gene mutation and elevated AMH (but no cysts)
9/14 - HSG, Hysteroscopy and laparoscopy showed tubes clear, but found and removed Endometriosis, scar tissue and 2 small benign masses on my tubes.
11/14 - Daily ultrasounds confirmed that my follicles are not releasing the egg and every other day blood draws showed very low progesterone... DH's SA was near perfect
12/14 - moving onto meds!!! Hold up!!! Surprise BFP after only taking the progesterone! Now what do I do with all of the other meds we already paid for?! Due at the end of August 2015 Beta#1- 4434 @ 22DPO Beta#2 - 7335 @ 25DPO Beta #3 - 14429 @ 28DPO
I've only had a c-section too, but I don't really think it would make much of a difference in losing weight. If you had a vaginal delivery and then were really lazy and sat around all day you're not going to lose the weight like a c-section mom who moves around or eats less. It's the same formula for any weight loss, eat less, move more and you'll lose weight.

Losing weight wasn't the problem. I had to make sure I was exercising though because the muscles that they have to go through when doing the surgery don't snap back quite as easily. So as before ds, losing weight was enough to make my stomach look better, after I had to lose weight and exercise.

Well I can't compare c-section vs natural but I did have a csection with DD. I gained about 50-55 pounds with DD and lost everything I gained plus another 20 pounds. For the first 3 months, all I did was breastfeed/pump. Then I started my exercise and workout plan. This weight was lost by the time DD was 1 year old. Of course, I had a huge motivator.... My hubby got deployed when DD was 3 months and came back shortly after her 1st bday. But it shows if you set your mind to it, you can do it.

I've had 2 sections. In both cases, my weight melted off and I was back to pre-preg weight and clothes by 2 weeks pp. I don't know if it really has to do with c/s or vaginal, more like it's the person.

Yes, this. I only gained 12 pounds while pregnant and I was 30 pounds below prepregnancy weight by 6 weeks out. No problems at all. Breastfeeding was what did it for me.
I gained about 20 lbs when I as pregnant with DD, had a c-section, and lost about 30 lbs one week after her birth. I did not breast feed. I ate very healthy and smaller meals though because my blood presure was still high.
It took me a year to get all the weight off with my first son, who was a c-section birth. I didn't start losing any significant weight until he was about 8-9 months and I took a class. I lost all my baby weight with DS2 (who was a VBAC) in about 8-9 months. But! I was a lot more active this time around. I gained around 45 lbs with both pregnancies.
