Our baby was born November 8, at 2:09 pm. i was 36 weeks and she was 6 lbs 12.6 oz and 20 inches long. I'm happy to finally be able to post on this board! Things are going well... we're just getting used to everything

Actually, right now we're trying to feed DD. She's refusing to eat, even though it's been 4 1/2 hours since her last feeding. :-D so, the new mommy in me is starting to get nervous that she just will never want to eat again lol I need to learn this whole patience/going with the flow thing. It's hard!!

I know it's hard, but remember- babies will sleep when they are tired and eat when they are hungry. I stopped waking DS to feed the night we left the hospital, he would go a 5 hour stretch without eating and he gained weight just fine. Have you had a weight check yet? Try not to worry too much, and congratulations on your baby!

Congrats on your baby girl. Don't worry, you'll be a great mom. Just enjoy her, and don't worry, she will eat. My ds didn't eat hardly at all in the hospital, but he is a big eater now!
