Carpal Tunnel

Is anyone else dealing with this right now?  My left hand is tingling and/or numb pretty much all the time now.  I had to go and buy a wrist brace which doesn't seem to take it ALL away, but it certainly helps.  Just wondering if anyone else has this as bad as I do?

    Yep I got my brace a while ago. If I wear it all the time, I do get some relief.

    stupid question - can you get a form of carpal tunnel (I am sure it has another name) in your foot? I have had what feels like a pulled tendon in my foot since June.  It only hurts if I stretch it too much, but it is still quite annoying.

    I have had this to some degree in both of my hands for a while.  Some days it is worse than others.  I started wearing braces at night when I slept, but I realized it wasn't really helping.  Some mornings, having them on actually made the numbness worse, so I stopped.

    Delivery is the only thing that will relieve the CT in your wrists and the tarsal tunnel in your feet.

    I had surgery on both hands after the birth of DS...It isn't as intense this time, but it is definitely still there. 

    Wear your *** splints and try something like Biofreeze in the evening before you go to bed.  That is what my ortho told me last time around!

    I've been dealing with CT in both hands (lucky me) since about 26 weeks.

    yes, I got the symptoms about 2 weeks ago. My last few weeks of pregnancy have been oh-so-much-fun! Tongue Tied

    Yes, ugh, I started out with my hands going numb while typing, driving (that's fun), doing my daughter's hair.  Then came really bad pain in both hands, especially my thumbs, and shooting pain up my right arm, which would keep me up at night.  I've been icing both wrists befpre bed and wearing braces every night and that has helped with the pain.  In the morning my hands are very weak though and my fingers ache.

    I've had it in my right hand for weeks (well, months). It has only gotten worse, but I haven't tried a brace or anything. It's mainly just my fingertips that go numb during the day. At night, well that's a whole different story! Both hands go numb and it wakes me up all the time.

    It could be plantar fasciitis.  I have it in both feet and it hurts like a mother.  It hasn't bothered me at all this pregnancy, for which I am extremely grateful.  I don't think I could handle a flare-up of that, because I've had tendonitis in both wrists all summer.
