  • gross eh? My wrists ache if I even have to carry him for 2 minutes.  He is 17.5 lbs without the seat. I pretty much never carry him anymore unless i HAVE to (in and out of the house).

  • I don't have bruises, but I carry the seat on my left forearm and it's covered with bruises. lol

  • I hate the carseat!!! My LO LOVES it, though. I was hoping I could "wear" him, but he strongly prefers the carseat, so I am always lugging it everywhere we go. I can't even see over it when it's in the shopping cart!!

This. I could never carry the carsear around by the handle. Carrying it on my forearm is much easier.

  • Not me! lol! I don't carry it! Hubby does! Apparently up until a few weeks ago he still thought I had lifting restrictions Wink

  • Nope. I only carry her in the car seat from garage to house and vice versa. When we go out she is always in a carrier ON me... Either my SBP ring sling or Mei Tei. It has done wonders for strengthening my back and core! :)

  • Car seat stays in the car, unless I'm putting it directly on the snap and go. Occasionally, if he's asleep, I'll carry him into the house and pray for a longer nap, but it hardly ever works.

The ergo is way easier on my back.

  • I have them on both hands, and tons of bruises down the side of my legs. It is actually easier to carry 2 seats because it balances me out. Whenever people offer to carry one, I always say no and they think I am nuts.
