Hi Ladies.
I was curious if anyone had any opinions on the Nursing Bras and Tanks available at Target. I'm mainly curious about your thoughts on the nursing bras - $12 or $15 (they are on sale right now) seems too good to be true...but if they are good, I figure I'll try there before I spend $50 on Bravado. If it matters, I am currently a 34 C (started out 34 A!), so imagine I might go up a cup size after baby comes?
Thanks!
Re: Nursing Bras and Tanks from Target?
I really like the Bravado tank I got for $49. It is sized just like a bra, and is very good quality. I'm a 34E so I need good support.
Then I went to Target and they have a Bravado tank there (sizing is S, M, L)! It's $30 and I really like it!
The other tanks Target has just don't fit me well. Too short/boxy (I'm tall) and not enough support.
As far as bras, Target NEVER has a size for me. 34C or D is easier to find though.
I think the Target ones neither fit well nor wash/wear well. The lace on the one I bought recently frayed after ONE wash. Ridiculous.
The Bravado ones are pretty awesome, and you can get them for $35 on breakoutbras.com pretty regularly. They last great (your boobs will get smaller before they'll get really worn, esp. if you don't put them in the dryer).
But you should wait to buy nursing bras and tanks until about 3 weeks after you give birth. You could easily be a DD or an F!
You could get one Bravado slightly bigger than you are now though, since you can wear them pregnant, too.
I've heard this, so was planning on getting atleast one to wear now/after birth until I know what size I will be.
I really hate my Bravado nursing bra. It has removable cups, and they got all wonky after one wash.
I love my Gilligan & O'Malley nursing bras from Target! They're only $12.99 regularly. I'm a 34C as well.

I love my Target bras! I got the plain ones - no lace or frills - they are the cheapest ones. I wear a 40D, and yes, they can be hard to find sometimes, especially when on sale... but better than paying $50 for a bra I may or may not like.
For me, I just wore a regular bra or tank for about a week after delivery. I knew I was changing, and I had no idea what I'd end up being! I had heard to wait until 38-39 weeks and then buy a nursing bra, but I never got around to it.

I love my Gillian O'mally tanks I got from target. I'm about a 38D or a little more right now and they fit great. I got an Xlarge just so they weren't super tight and wear them all the time.
I did get a bra from there too and like it a lot. I'll probably get another one today when I go if they are on sale.
I agree. As you can see, it totally depends on: your body shape, how you like things to fit, and how big your boobs get from your milk coming in. My boobs didn't change in size at all. I went from a c to a d during pregnancy and they are still a d.

I never liked the nursing bras I got from Target. They just didn't seem that nice. But I almost exclusively wore nursing tanks, so having a couple cheap Target bras was fine for me.
I did like their Gilligan & O'Malley nursing tanks, but mostly for sleeping or hanging out at home. They just seem more like comfy/lounge tanks to me and didn't have the structure I wanted for leaving the house. They are also on the short side for me. But I love the Bravado tanks I bought.
I bought a few of the Target tanks in the beginning, then waited about a month to order the Bravado ones. Once my supply regulated I ended up smaller boob-wise than when I was PG. You just can't count on them getting even bigger.

I love the Target nursing tanks for sleep and hanging around the house. I'm a DD and they do NOT offer enough support to wear under shirts if I'm leaving the house. I wear my glamourmom tanks or just some random nursing bras I have from different department stores when I go out.
