Got a home doppler. it is awesome.

I thought I could be rational and just assume everything is fine, but after feeling sick last weekend, I broked down and bought a doppler online for $50.

It arrived tonight and we used it right away.  it was pretty awesome.

Baby N conceived after 1 miscarriage and more than 2 years of TTC. Diagnosis was low sperm count. We found success after 3 months of anastrozole to increase DH's testosterone and one IUI.

    I am totally getting one of these, I need the reassurance. I know that I cant panic though if I cant find the heartbeat sometimes.

    Yeah, I read that maybe around 11 or 12 weeks, of course some heard it earlier, some heard it later, but we will see. I guess maybe it depends how often I see my Dr and how many ultrasounds I get. If I get alot then maybe I wont get one, it could make me stress more, cuz I am nutty like that :-)

    I sooooooooooo am for this!!! I got one around 12 weeks because I couldn't stop the constant worry.

    It's so nice to be able to check for that HB every few days for the reassurance.

    I got one early on and honestly, it saved my (& DH's) sanity. I didn't start using it until after the doc was able to find it with theirs, but it was still nice to be able to use it anytime I would have a minor freak-out about any little twinge I felt.

    I loved mine.  I started using it about 11 weeks and only on days I had a Drs appt and we'd seen a HB on the u/s so I knew things were okay.   But after my 12 week NT scan I had a long 5 weeks with no appts and it totally kept me sane.
