Because of some crazy reasons, we are thinking about having DDs 1st birthday in Myrtle Beach this November. Does anyone have any recommendations on good places? I would imagine there will be only 1 or 2 kids other than DD, so it will be more of an adult thing. Any Ideas? TIA!!
Re: Myrtle Beach 1st birthday
November should be nice and slow!! :-) The condos on the beach should be pretty reasonably priced that time of year too!! We love Compass Cove. They have a couple of indoor pools, hottubs, and lazy rivers.
You won't have to battle all the tourist!! I'd recommend going to Ripley's Aquarium at Broadway at the Beach. If it's late November you could see one of the Carolina Opry Holiday Shows! They just built the SkyWheel that overlooks the water and a new boardwalk. They also have a children's museum. The Palace Theater and Alabama Theater rotates shows throughout the year.
Broadway at the Beach has a lot of neat shops and activities. You can feed the ducks, paddle boat, etc. They also have and IMAX 3D Theater.
