Ever felt like giving up?

That is where I am today.  CD13 and I think I just saw some pink on the T.P.  :(  I am sure AF is on the way and it SUCKS. 

I think it is terribly unfair..  Is this some sort of weird test to prove that I really DO want a baby?  Make me try for 25 cycles just to be sure? 

Don't mind me.. just feeling sorry for myself.  :(

    That does suck :-( Two years is a long time to cycle through hope and disappointment.

    It also sucks that even if you take a break, you still can't not think about it.

    Yes-we have considered giving up.  Part of our ability to cope with our TTC journey was to set an end date to when we would stop TTC.  Although-I must admit that I start to panic as that time nears.....it helps us to focus on this being a time limited thing for us-not a permanent journey.  Our hope is for a BFP, but there are also many other aspects of our lives besides IF that deserve our utmost attention.   All the ups and downs are tough-take good care of yourself.
    TTC since 10/09 Me-43 DH-44 RE and testing 10/10-11/10, Recommending IVF 1/11 New RE AMA and DOR-DH low motility IVF #1.1 cancelled 3/11 due to poor response IVF #1.2 May 2011, one perfect 8-cell embryo, 3dt-BFN, IVF #2.1 Converted to IUI d/t poor response. New RE 9/2011. IVF 2.2 completed using HGH,EPP,DHEA, Q-10 and accupuncture. Transferred one 8-cell, grade one embryo on 10/19. BFP 10/31/11 Chemical pregancy on 11/2/11. Started stims for IVF #3, our final try, on 12-2-11. ET on 12/18. Transferred 3 Grade A embryos-BFFN Planning DE IVF, late March/early April- Donors ER expected to be 4/2-4/4. PAIF/SAIF welcome

    The disappointment doesn't seem to get any easier. You would think we're all used to this by now month after month always BFN. I do feel for you. Hang in there.
    TTC #1 since 2/10 Me 38 FSH 12.9 & AMH 0.16 DH 47, low sperm count due to meds. 07/11 We have sperm! 28 million, 70% motility, morphology 1% normal. 08/14/11 1st IUI unmedicated BFN. 09/11/11 2nd IUI w/ Femara + trigger BFN 10/14/11 trigger & Final IUI 10/16/11 BFN 10/21/11 Started acupuncture and loving it! 01/21 ET one embryo 6 cell grade C. Beta 02/02. BFN. Taking a much needed break. image

    I'm sorry your having a rough time. To answer your question yes, and I think if we were trying for #2 or more rather than still going for #1, we would have quit long ago. Take Care!

    So sorry to hear that you're so down. I can't imagine trying for that long.  I have days where I think "what are we doing?"  It is so not fair that when your 15 all you have to do is look at a guy and get pregnant.  But when your older, more mature and ready it is sooo much harder.   Here if you need to vent some more.  I vented yesterday about PMS.  It just sucks!!!  Take care.  Sending you hugs!!!!

    Thanks all..  :)  I think my little pity party scared AF away because the pink (I am now wondering if my eyes were deceiving me) is gone.  Not getting too excited--I know from TOO MUCH experience that tomorrow could still be the day, but my mood is slightly better tonight.  Just wanted to say thanks for the support.  :)

    llama-glad to hear your feeling somewhat better.  Hugs to you!!!  Wondering about my AF as well.  Don't know where she is this month and pretty sure not preggers.  If nothing tomorrow will POAS, but thinking being CRAZY!!!!

    Yes, and I have only been trying for about 7 months.  I worry a lot about my age... 44 is a bit older than most of the ladies on here.  I have my RE appointment to go over my tests on Thursday... very nervous... It may be the end for us. (((hugs)))))
