    I could have written this same thing to my DS tonight. He finally knocked out an hour and a half after his usual bed time.

    I've done that. Just let her sleep in her swing so I can sleep. My hubby said not to. When I told him he'd be getting up with her, he suddenly didn't have a problem. I think it's ok as long as it doesn't become a habit. Otherwise you might be creating a monster.
