where did you get your LO's bday invites?

As much as I want to DIY LO's 1st bday party invites, I don't think I have the luxury of time to do it :-(. I have checked out Tiny Prints but was wondering if you know of any other good sites to check out?

Thanks!

  • We did DIY ours but if I didn't I would for sure order from Tiny Prints again (got our birth announcements and Christmas cards there and they're great!).

I do like that they can send out the cards for you and have a matching online rsvp (which is great since people hate calling to rsvp lol)!

ditto - I love Tiny Prints, I used them for J's birth announcement and had to semi-custom one of their designs b/c of his full name/nickname and they were great to work with.  so then I ordered our holiday cards and father's day cards from them too.

except we didn't do anything special for his bday - I just got pre-bought the fill in invites since the expense/energy was planning the fam. trip.

I did not know this is possible? There are some designs that I like but not in our color theme. Can I have them customize?

  • i just chatted with one of the agents and said they'll be able to customize the colors! yipee!

  • yay!  If I remember right it was super easy and they only charged an extra $4.99 which is the price of the online proof.
  • Yay!  I DIYed ours, but I probably would have gone the Tiny Prints route is I hadn't.

  • To those who DIY'd, where did you have the invites printed? I have also seen some designs on Etsy that I like. Some of hem are just for pdf files though.
  • I made DIY invites as well.  you can just bring the file to kinkos, staples, etc and have them printed/cut :) i think there is a pic of our invite in my FB albums?

FWIW, i got a free card from tiny prints once and thought the quality of them was good

this! they also have really great customer service. i ordered our birth announcements from them and the color of the chair m was sitting came out more green than grey and they totally fixed it and shipped it right away.

  • I ordered ours from Loralangdesigns on etsy

I was really, really happy with how they came out.  It was just the pdf & I emailed them to a local photo printer & had them printed.

but I also have used Tiny Prints & have been very happy with them.

  • I just printed the main wording on a laser printer, then cut it into circles and glued to bigger cardstock circles to make a caterpillar.

  • For SP's first birthday, I got from funandsassydesigns.com because we were doing a luau theme and they had my fave luau-themed invite.  I wanted one where I could put multiple photos since they change so much that first year.  Here's the link to the website with the invite that we got.

For his second bday and now his third, I'm using TinyPrints.  I love, love, love the RSVP website.  Plus you can discreety include their gift registry (SP has an Amazon wish list) so if someone wants guidance, it's right there (of if someone asks, you can tell them where it is...it's so discreet that many people miss it).

Thanks! I saw the invite. I love it. I am actually planning to have something similar i.e, have multiple photos. Yeah, I love Tiny Print's online rsvp too. I did not know that you can discreetly include the gift registry on Tiny Prints! That's also a plus.

  • I ordered Alexa's train party invites from this Etsy seller... She customized it for me with girl colors and we went back and forth until I was happy! I got it in one day! I emailed the pdf as a Save the Dave and then printed at Mpix.com and mailed.
