Success after IF

Ugh..Mamaroo broke!

So, I had heard good things about the Mamaroo, so I got one for Ellie (before she was born). She loves the thing, and naps in it every day.

Well, the darn thing broke. Can't get it to turn on at all. Ugh. Because it won't move, Ellie has no patience for sitting in it. Therefore, she would only nap in my arms today. I love cuddling her, but this made it impossible to do anything but hold her all afternoon!

I just emailed the company to see if they will replace it. Wish me luck!

    I don't still have the box or receipt, though. I could show proof of purchase through my bank transactions probably....I'm going to see what customer service says to my email first.

  • Not sure about the Mamaroo specifically, but I know that company is pretty good about fast exchanges with other items. Our Clearwater Bath thermometer stopped working, and they sent us a completely new tub FAST!

    Well, it's not the motor for us. Where the cord plugs into the base, the little pin inside the hole where the plug goes is bent slightly. The plug still goes in, but it doesn't touch the little metal plate inside that it needs to touch to get power. DH fiddled with it and has it working for the moment...I think if the company does something for us, it will have to be a whole replacement unit...

  • We almost bought one of those, but I read a lot of reviews about them breaking easily and motor problems.  Even one of the sales people at the store warned us about the problems, but he did say that the company was really on top of fixing problems so hopefully they will get yours fixed asap.
