I had heard it was bad for you because of the chemicals and what not, but don't recall hearing about a link to infertility. Stupid popcorn, making me IF!
I have heard of this before but it was more for the chemicals in all the seasonings they put in it. I love popcorn and I make it in this. No oil needed. Just a little popcorn salt or fresh parmesan. So worth the money - just be careful not to hold it by the handle when washing it. The handle can't handle the weight of all the water.

I have heard that the popcorn bag liners are terrible, and full of nasty chemicals.
I have always made popcorn the old fashioned way, on the stove, in a pot (why the article says skillet, I have no idea) with a little bit of oil. It is so much healthier and better this way, I think. It is also a very cheap snack.
Pretty much best to stay away from any canned foods and any microwavable packaging-- all those liners leak nasty chemicals that can hurt fertility.
I've never read about a link to fertility, but yes, I've been making popcorn on the stove for the last few years. We're not perfect about any of these, especially the canned tomatoes and the corn-fed beef.
whenever I feel the urge for popcorn, use an air popper. I also don't like anything on mine. So very healthy. Air poppers pretty inexpensive. Can get different sizes to make varying amts. And if you make it alot can get big jars of kernals that last awhile. Wonderred as far as what you can eat, i am beginning to believe nothing. With everything that is on the news everyother day. I know a healthy diet is important for ttc, however, sometimes some junk food is required.

We don't generally eat it but it seems like every day I am seeing reports of something new that shouldn't be eaten.

Hmm. I wonder if our diets have hurt our chances.
