A is teething and chewing on everything! He has 6 teeth now and is doing some serious damage to his crib rails. I wouldn't care but I really don't like the paint chipping off in his mouth. Does anyone have a good recommendation for guard covers? We have the Graco Lauren if that helps. TIA!

Re: Teething covers for crib
We use this teething cover. None of the plastic covers would fit as the crib rail is pretty wide. Plus, the yellow matches DD's bed set so it looks really cute. It is soft and fairly thick and washes nicely.

We have this in brown. LO figured out quickly how to pull the plastic covers right off.
I essentially made my own one of these by using the crib bumpers that came with the bedding set. I just un-stuffed the bumper and used the ties to tie it around the rails. I like that I actually get to use them for something since bumpers are a no-no.
The sticky plastic ones came off on us too, so my DH zip tied them on! They stayed put after that.

We have the gummi rail cover - no problems with LO pulling it off yet and it's been on there for 8 months or so. It's slightly pulling up on the edge .. but it's doing it's job (I just wish I would've put it on sooner so the crib didn't get ruined already..)

I just noticed that F did this all down the top rail of the crib. I will be noting all of the posts in this thread, too.

We use these on our Graco Lauren. I didn't want anything gummy. These stay put because if you put them next to each other they can't pull them up by the edges. We have a noise machine on the side, so we have these all along up to that. I just wish I'd put them on sooner!
