I want to buy an umbrella stroller that will last me awhile. My daughter is very tall for her age. I don't want anything as expensive as the Maclaren etc. Looking for under $100 preferably. I'm posting on this wall because I am wondering what strollers you can still use up to this age. Do I need one that reclines? I know I want one that has a 5 point harness. Other than that, a tall one would be nice since I'm 5'7" and DH is 6'4". But that is not a requirement since we could get handle extenstions. Same goes for cup holders. And I know I will probably have to buy a bigger sun shade. This is my first child so I don't know how long kids use strollers. So I don't know how much of a weight limit I need. With regular strollers my DD can barely fit her shoulders in NOW so I can't imagine they will work when she grows. For a big stroller we have a Chicco and that is 23 pounds so something lighter than that. Thanks!

We have this one, DD loves it, and she's tall for her age too...
We also got 20% off w/coupon, so it was super reasonable to me, and it's much better than the traditional umbrella strollers...the back unzips and reclines a little, and there's a travel bag w/shoulder strap, so it makes it easy to transport...
I have a mclaren volo. I am 5'9". It works great for me. My kids don't need one that reclines because if we are going somewhere that an umbrella stroller is needed it is usually not for an all day outing. Also, DS could sleep sitting up just fine.
