Parenting after a Loss

Just when I thought changing DD's sheets were hard enough...

I put bumpers on.  Those things kicked my a$$ and they still look like sh!t.  I think everytime that I have to change her bed, I'm now not only going to have to take the mattress out, but put the bumpers back on each time.

  • I love my breathable bumper because it doesn't get in the way too much. It still bugs, but I don't have to take it off.

I must have done something wrong then with mine.  Or have the wrong mattress.  The mattress is SO tight in her crib that it will pull them.  I'll re-visit this tomorrow.

Ugh... crib sheet changing is the worst... low mattress plus bumpers makes it tricky.  We've got a kiddo with a stomach bug here tonight too, so I see much frustration with sheets in our evening.

They get bunched down when we put the mattress back in, but it's easier to pull them back up than it is to take it off and put it back on IMO.
