My maternity jeans are starting to get tight...aahh! I've already bought more maternity clothing for this pregnancy than I planned.
I just found out that my sister and mom are trying to organize a "Baby Sprinkle" type brunch for me in two weeks and it's making me want to get something new & flattering.
Are you all still buying maternity clothing or are you trying to hold out & just stretch what you have until the end??
Re: Still buying Maternity clothing?
I really need to. I always look at maternity clothes when I go out shopping, but I put off buying things. I need at least one pair of jeans and one pair of leggings to get me through the fall. Maybe a long-sleeved dress or two, as well. Oh, and my shoe selection is completely dire.
I live in the South, but it got oddly chilly here this week -- already! I think sundress weather is just about over. Probably time for a shopping trip.
This exactly. Got my (hopefully) final few shirts for this pregnancy in the mail today.
I'm trying to only buy things that I feel will be wearable and not super "maternity" after I give birth. I know I won't automatically be fitting back into my pre-pg clothes. For example, I bought these jeans the other day because I feel like they will still work:

I also bought some nursing tank tops today. Stuff like that. I did buy a dress for my next shower too.
I hate the idea of buying any more maternity clothes, but because I have to wear professional dress to work, I'm forced into purchasing all types of clothing to accommodate my growing belly. I also hate being uncomfortable, so I am sure I'll be buying a few more pieces for fall.
I have found a few really nice tops on Ebay and a local consignment store, so I plan on checking those sources first. I'd like to get a couple loose and open cardigans and some leggings, items I could potentially wear after baby arrives.
I went out and bought 5 shirts today, all 3/4 and full length. I didn't have anything more than short sleeves, and I will definitely need something, considering it gets cold here in October, and I'll probably continue to wear them for a little while after LO is born.
I also bought baby shower dress today.
I'm planning on buying 1 pair of long yoga pants and that will probably be the extent of it. ETA: Other than a few nursing bras and tanks.
Same here, I live in MI as well, and will need to get at least one more pair of pants... I was HOPING to wear my summer clothes until the end of Sept. but that didn't happen! Love MI weather!!
