Honestly: How often are you having sex?

I am having some difficulties with my honey in the area of sex. He'd like to have sex every day. His rationale is that when we first started dating (5 years ago!) we had sex every day before he went to work. These days, it's a success if we have sex once a week.

So, how often are YOU having sex?

I'd say once every 2 weeks on average. Sometimes more, sometimes less. It's hard when your DH gets home after your asleep.

Truthfully, it was not this way after DS. I hate to say it, but breastfeeding was a libido killer for me. I weaned much earlier this time, and whoa. Hormones. Maybe it's because I'm in my early 30's? I'm blaming it on that. lol There has to be some benefit to getting old, right?

We have sex probably about once or twice a week. My DH has to be up at 4:30 in the morning so it can be hard to get the kids settled down in enough time to DTD and him still have plenty of sleeping time.

This! DH has been getting home from work after midnight most nights, and our schedules don't coordinate at all during the day. But BFing hasn't killed my sex drive like I was told it would at all.

Usually once a week sometimes more one week and not at all the next. Only problem with BFing is if they are slightly full they leak like crazy. DH doesn't seem to mind but it kinda kills the mood for me.

I've never heard that BFing is a libido killer, but I'm glad to hear that other people feel that way too.

We usually DTD at some point each week- but it's really difficult for me to be in the mood. I feel a little guilty about that.

I'd say we are almost back to every other day. We tend to do quickies while DS is distracted, and we normally have to sneak off to the guest room in order for him not find us. And always on DH's days off.

I EBF too, and I'm on mini pill plus condoms, so sex isn't as sexy as it used to be. We try to have sex a few times a week. DH raids 3 nights a week until 11:00 and I'm not awake or waking up for sex. It's mostly on the weekend.

OP: I am going to be the needle in this haystack or whatever you call the crazy odd one.. we are about 5 times a week, sometimes more. I''m EBF right now and I can tell it's definitely hurt my libido but sometimes when I'm super tired or DH has to wake up early, we do it just to sleep better, sometimes it's fun to sneak off when LO falls asleep, and sometimes, we just want to. DH could do it 3x every day if he wanted, and even at our current amount I am exhausted from it and if I had it my way would definitely cut back some, but he is such a great help some days that I feel like I owe him, ha! Since he's working and I'm not, it's what I can contribute to his long days at work. I'm sad I know

I feel like a horrible person. DH and I have had sex once since the baby was born. I'm EBF and he works 18 hour days...we have 3 older kids and paper thin walls, bedshare without a spare bedroom.

The first thing I'm going to do when we move is try to get it on in the new baby-free bed.

Ha! My husband has been saying lately that he thinks we are growing apart sexually.. weve had sex I believe around 5 times since Autumn was born! I was like uh sorry that im exhausted and it doesnt feel good? Hopefully the energy and desire comes back someday but as of now I literally dont even think about it!

I actually try to get DH into bed quite often, but he is the one who turns down sex. Yes, I married a man who isn't that interested in sex..... I didn't think they exsisted! Pre-Lydia, we had sex about once a week.....In the past year, we've had sex maybe 3-4 times!
