Looking for a great doctor in Katy area!

I know this is asked quite a bit, but does anyone have any suggestions? I am 28 weeks pregnant and just moved here from Michigan!

 Thanks!!

I love Dr. Schmidt!  I moved from out of state last year and she came highly rated.

Good question.... That would be something to asked your regular doctor I guess.Or maybe you could call the hospital?

I just know that after what she said and did to me and what others have experienced with her, we avoid her whenever possible. I was told she was going to be the one to discharge me and I told the nurse I didn't want her anywhere near me and that I'd wait for my own doctor.

I go to Dr. Bertles. I love her!! I haven't had any experience with the other doctor's there though. Good to know to avoid Andrews, I'll keep that in mind!

  • I know this is late but I have to disagree. I use Dr. Andrews and I think she is amazing! For the first 8 months of my first pregnancy I was in Dr. Schmidt's care and had developed pre-eclampsia late in pregnancy. She sent me to the hospital twice (the first time I had to sign consent to deliver at 31 weeks from a doctor I had never seen before). She never came to the hospital to explain anything or check on me. I saw Dr. Andrews both times and I was always comforted by her easy humor and down to earth attitude. I switched at 9 months and am using her to deliver baby #2.

I honestly believe that different doctors are for different people. My best friend is using Dr. Schmidt (we are 3 weeks apart) and she loves her and I am glad.
