Sob. I hope he does better with these shots than he did with the 2 month ones. He cried just for a minute when he got them, but ran a 102-103 fever for over 24 hours afterwards.

The boys also have their 4 month checkup/shots today. It breaks my heart.
Ohh I feel worse for you. You have to endure the screams twice. Good luck. Let's just hope that four month shots are easier.
We do a trade off. I hold the first baby for shots, then hug him and hand him off to DH for a bottle. Then I hold the second baby and give him the bottle myself.

Our four month shots were a TON easier. There was only one shot in each leg and then there was a drink. E was super fussy and feverish after her two month shots and this time she barely cried and she was back to her normal self right away. If all shots could go this way I wouldn't mind having to do it to her so much.

I so hope for this. The doctor did tell me that if he has a strong reaction to the two month shots, that typically the four month ones are easier. Fingers crossed. But sob I have to leave in a half an hour. I keep telling him that getting the momentary discomfort of shots is far less painful and bad than polio or small pox or measles etc.
the only time she slept through the night was the night she got her 2 month shots. 930-645. best night of my life.
