Pearland Pediatrician: TCPA-Shadow Creek Ranch vs. TCPA-Pearland

DD is due in December and I am researching a Pediatrician for her. My OB recommended the TCPA (Texas Children's Pediatric Associates) group. There are two locations in my area: TCPA-Pearland and TCPA-Shadow Creek Ranch. Any moms out there who would recommend one practice over the other? TCPA-SCR is less than 4 minutes from our house, but I'd drive the extra mile/put up with 518 traffic to TCPA-Pearland if it means DD will receive better care/attention. What do you look for/deciding factors in a pediatrician for your child? Thanks in advance from this first time mom!

    Hi, im FTM as well and i actually called the TCPA-Pearland and they arent currently taking new patients but maybe around December they will.....My due date is this month on 09/24 and i picked out Dr.Valicek at the Shadow Creek location i would call TCPA-Pealand in November and see if they are taking new patients again!!!

    Thanks for the tip! I didn't even think of the possibility of them not accepting new patients.

    I see Dr. Davis at SCR.  She is the founding doctor of that practice and is the most experienced.  I love, love, love her!  She is great with both my toddler and newborn.  The practice seems to run very smoothly as well.  Good nurses, good front desk, etc.  I visited one of the doctors at Pearland when trying to decide and although that doctor was nice, I liked the other practice better.
