So DD was walking around after her nap and made her way in to the laundry room. She loves to help with laundry. She walked up to the washing machine, which is front loading, and sees her favorite teddy bear getting tumbled all around. She flipped out. She started crying, stomping her feet, and saying "teddy" in the saddest voice you've ever heard. We tried to tell her Teddy was taking a bath, but she didn't care. She wanted him out of there! It took a good 10 minutes to get her calmed down since we wouldn't take him out.
We really should have taken pictures. As sad as she was, it's one of the funniest things to happen around here lately
Re: Another tale from the Emer house
Hopefully she loves the clean teddy just as much as the dirty teddy! and yes, a video camera would have been great!
we had a similar problem when I got my brakes fixed a year or so ago. I thought Elena would find it cool to see the car go up in the air. WRONG. Instead she cried and sobbed and begged for the return of her carseat (?!?) which apparently isn't allowed to go up in the air. I ended up taking her for a walk to other stores in order to distract her from the horrors at the brake shop!
