We are going to travel to MA in October for 5 days. We really can't take CDs. My little dude poops some of the hugest poops I've ever seen. We had to use disposables for a few days after his surgery last week. He had a blowout. Like the worst blow out I've ever seen.
Granted, he was in a newborn diaper (he's just at the cut off). It was a pampers swaddler.
What diaper contains the most? I am so scared he is going to have a huge issue on the plane...
Re: If you have to use disposables, what brand?
We really liked the pampers swaddlers, but I did notice that the sizing seemed off. We ended up switching to a larger size not long after he reached the weight requirement for the next size up (we started CDing at about 6 months).
If you are worried about blowouts on the plane, make sure you pack an extra outfit for yourself in your carry on. DS vomited ALL OVER ME in the terminal on our way home and I ended up having to buy some very expensive, very ugly pajama pants to go home in. (OK they weren't THAT ugly, just NMS)
This.
We use diapers on DS at daycare and we use Huggies Pure & Natural.
ETA: And if you're worried about diaper leaks/poopsplosions, do you have diaper covers you could put over the disposable for backup? That could help!
Yes! This!!! The first time I put DS in a sposie I was SO AFRAID of it leaking. I totally kept a cover over the sposies all weekend. lol. I don't trust a sposie any farther than I can throw it!
You are a genius. Why the hell didn't I think of this?!?! LOL! Yes, his thirsties covers contain everything. They will also be super easy to wash in a sink and hang up if he does have an explosion. Thank you!
We'll miss you sweet Debbie Girl (4.21.12) and sweet Cindy Girl (8.9.12)

This. We've never had a leak or a blow out when we've put her in these.
Pampers are the best IMO.. Ive tried target, parents choice brands and they always end of having blow outs.
Also LUVS are just next to pampers...
