Beta not doubling correctly....

Well, beta is going up, but it's low and not doubling correctly. RE worried my embryo my have traveled up my tube and is now an ectopic. Feeling hopeless.

    me: 39 DH: 36      dx: unexplained (ugh) 

    January 2011 - December 2012: 4 cycles w/Clomid; 9 IUIs w/Follistim & Menopur;  two IVF cycles converted to IUI (poor response/dominant follicle) 

    August 2014 IVF (antagonist protocol: Menopur, Follistim, Ganirelix, dexamethasone): 13 eggs, 9 mature, 8 fertilized w/ICSI; 0 frozen, 3 transferred day 5 = BFN

    October 2014 IVF (micro-lupron protocol: mircrolupron, Menopur, Follistim, dexamethasone): 8 eggs, 4 mature, 3 fertilized w/ICSI; 3 transferred day 3 = BFP! Beta 1=121; Beta 2=287; Beta 3 =678. Miscarriage @ 8w2d. :(

    I am so sorry. 
    Sept 2009: off BCP, started charting
    Nov - March 2010: no period
    April - November 2010: Prometrium then clomid - BFN
    April 2011 - Finally moved and settled in new city
    June 30, 2011 - Ruptured Ovarian Cyst
    August 2011 - Met with RE - Bloodwork, etc = Dx PCOS, 1700mg of Metformin
    September 2011 - HSG/SIS - shows tissue in ute = Hysteroscopy
    September 2011 - Clomid + trigger + IUI #1 - cycle cancelled at baseline US - cyst on left ovary = 8 weeks of BCP
    December 2011 - IUI#1 Re-do- Clomid + 12/19 Trigger + 12/21 = BFN
    January 2012 - IUI#2- Clomid + Estrace CD13 + trigger + 1/22 = BFN February 2012 - IUI#3 - Clomid + Estrace - Failed to respond to Clomid found on CD 13 monitoring.
    Feb - Being of RE break-up!
    March - Being of crunchy phase aka Accupuncture
    June - Random Positive HPT!!
    Due February 17!

    I'm so sorry, (hugs) don't let them string you along insist on an ultrasound so they can figure it out and then either do a d+e or give you drugs the longer it takes the worse it is.

    Good advice. My fouth beta is Monday, it's the make it or break it day.

    I am so sorry you are going through this. I went through 3 weeks of beta hell with my ectopic. I have to agree completely with skiboston, please listen to your gut instincts are telling you. You have to be your own advocate!

    Unfortunately, with my ectopic, we could not detect it on the u/s because my levels were so low (which would probably be the case with yours as well). But they did not see anything in the uterus and I was still have betas all over the place so they decided on methotrexate at that time.

    8 IUIs - 3 Cancelled cycles - 1 Ectopic Pregnancy with Left tube removal = A broken heart
    IVF #1 : Fall 2012
    15R - 13M - 13F w/ICSI - Transferred 2 day 5 blasts = BFP!!!
    8 Frosties!
    Beta #1: 135, Beta #2: 312, Beta #3: 996
    10/21: Saw one beautiful flickering heartbeat! EDD: 6/12/13

    Oh no! Will they do an u/s to check? or just keep checking betas? I'm so sorry! T's and P's for non- ectopic and betas to move up correctly

    ETA_ I am high risk for ectopic and my GYN said to have an u/s immediately after my post HPT so that we can check for ectopic

    Oops I neglected to read the responses before I posted the above. I wish you luck that it is not an e/p.
